We hosted our first shave event on August 8, 2009, with eight participants. We want to find ways to make a significant statement about serious injustices that women around the world are suffering, and we think shaving our heads speaks pretty loudly. We want to challenge people to ask themselves how they could raise their voices for those who cannot speak for themselves. We sponsored Equality Now in 2009. We're in the process of choosing our 2010 recipient. We're also in the process of updating our website! Please bear with us and stay tuned.
